It feels like a tiny Australian demon climbed into my ear, made a modest nest out of the hopes and dreams of pop musicians, and started banging on my eardrum with Josh Homme’s femur.

I‘m sorry I broke your brain. I didn’t mean to. Actually, come to think of it… it wasn’t my fault now, was it? I mean, it was fragile I know, but you decided to plug into it. Maybe you should have used less wattage? More bass perhaps? Let’s not argue about it anymore, ok? I still love you. So does the Noctavia. You can’t argue with a guitar pedal, and you can’t exactly kill it… because there will always be more… somewhere. I think acceptance is the only way out. Buy the ticket. Take the ride. Of course it’s supposed to make that noise. Would a pedal like this make any other? It didn’t mean to hurt anyone. It’s the nature of the beast. A cat wants a laser. A dog a bone. A fuzz requires sanity. Sweet juicy sanity. It’ll all be over soon. See ya there. Maybe we can meet for lunch at the diner. You know, the one that looks like it’s stuck in time, with all the trucks and fat middle class white americans. Naw. Fuck that place. Let’s stay in and make scrambled eggs instead.
