The US takes the massive fuzz sound the Torn’s Peaker and Aenima are know for, but slams a tight and distinctive gate at the end so as notes trail off, they die a quick and ruthless death. It emulates the sound of classic fuzz into a high gain amp, combining the rich character of classic fuzz sounds with the overdriven nature of warm tube love, very much like the classic American Woman tone achieved via the Garnet Herzog amplifier.
